The Communications Committee serves as the Region’s liaison to, and on,
the National Communications and Public Relations Committee.
The Committee develops, implements, and maintains a publicity and public relations program
which includes the generation of media coverage for all Regional Council events;
review and issue news releases; offers training in public relations techniques to the Council;
and projects a positive interest in the employment status of Black Government employees and significant
and supporting activities.
